Bargara Village
Bargara is the main seaside community of the Coral Coast, just a 15 minute drive east of the City of Bundaberg.
The village offers a peaceful and relaxed environment with an array of local amenities and recreational facilities, all within a safe walking distance. Relaxation
The wonderfully picturesque foreshore overlooks quaint beach coves that can be enjoyed under the shaded seating of pagodas nestled along the oceanfront. This landscaped foreshore, designed with the environment in mind, has a walking trail that stretches from Nielson Park Beach south to Kelley's Beach or north to Mon Repos Beach and all the way to Burnett Heads.
The Nielson Park area provides a safe stinger-free patrolled surf beach, picnic areas, children's playground, skate bowl and bikeways.
Recreational Facilities
Recreational facilities include a picturesque and challenging 18 hole Championship Golf Course at Bargara ( and another 4 courses within a short drive), Tennis and Bowls.
There are numerous basins that provide good snorkelling opportunities for all ages, as well as artificial reefs and beach areas for fishing.
